Last week I got PvZ:GW on Xbox One and I had just started playing it a few days ago when I got home. I must say it's quite fun, though sometimes I get killed in ridiculous ways.
If anybody's a fan of the original PvZ tower defense genre games or first/third person shooter games of any other franchise, you should try this out. It's funny how they make characters of a tower defense series work in the shooter genre that dominates the gaming market for Xbox One and Playstation 4. This game's no existing game with a PvZ skin slapped on it; it's most certainly its own game.
My favorite plant class is the Sunflower. I don't much kills as her, but it's fun healing other plants, using the Sunbeam and whatever other stuff the Sunflower can do. I'd probably say my favorite zombie class is the Engineer since I always stick to the Engineer's proper job: Building teleporters and sentries in Gardens and Graveyards (Control Point capture mode). Some Engineer players don't really pay attention to their proper job - they just rush in to shoot and die.
Apparently the game will have free DLC, similar to TF2. I hope they add some things in, such as a replay feature. It might sound pointless to some, but it'd be useful for making Machinima or a kill montage video. I like the idea of including different class variants which change the way you play the chosen class a bit. I got 3/5 pieces for the Metal Petal variant of Sunflower... I hope to complete it soon. I have some class variants, but I only got the Mystic Flower variant for the Sunflower so far. It's hard to use the variant since her attacks charge up and can be semi-auto blasts. I'd definitely be better off with any of the other variants of Sunflower - Power Flower, Fire Flower (dat Mario reference), Shadow Flower and Metal Petal.
